Most of the day to day life tips, tricks, ideas suggestions and tactics I share here arise from my own personal, real life experience — so I know they work; at least for me.
I however acknowledge the fact that what works for me won’t necessarily work for all else.
Even though I am probably more orderly, enthusiastic, and scheduled than the average first time working mom, I feel compelled to say that in my life, there are frequent exceptions to the rule.

Yes, I am frequently up by 5am daily but there are definitely mornings when I plan to sleep in a bit because I feel my body needs the additional rest.
I am frequently in bed by 8pm, but there are occasionally nights when I stay up later to catch up on jazz with the hubby or probably because I had hosted some visitors that left after 7pm.
I make hot breakfast for my family every single morning, but there are some mornings when we eat bread and yogurt and call that “good enough”.
Friday evenings are my scheduled self care days but there are times when I take about two weeks without minding how/what I look/feel like.
There are exceptions to the rule in all areas of my life and I think its okay. Its actually normal.
When my routine doesn’t work 100% of the time, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s a bad/ failed one. It simply means I’m living life! I only revisit my routines when I notice that they are consistently not producing the results I expected.
Exceptions are meant to humble us! And remind us that ‘It is still well’.
